In the middle of all the criticism surrounding her daughter’s 2025 Grammy prank, Bianca Censori’s mother has stated that her family is just a regular group of people trying to live their own life.
After donning an attire that left very little room for interpretation this past Sunday, Bianca, the wife of legendary rap artist Kanye West, became maybe the most talked-about person on the planet.
As Bianca and Kanye stood on the red carpet, the former dropped her black fur coat to show off almost everything to the hundreds of paparazzi who had gathered to see the near-nude offering.
It goes without saying that the ensuing images went viral, receiving both acclaim and criticism from various sources. Everyone in the celebrity news industry wanted to talk about Bianca’s outfit—or lack thereof—in the days that followed.
We witnessed the purported significance of the bold wardrobe choice emerge, as well as several lip readers trying to interpret not just the exchanges between Kanye and Bianca but also what Kanye reportedly said to photographers prior to his wife dropping her coat.
We also heard Kanye’s own thoughts on the subject. The 47-year-old angrily denied the rumor that he and his wife were kicked out of the event because they weren’t invited, and praised the fact that Censori’s name had surpassed the Grammys in terms of Google searches.

After being questioned about the incident, Alexandra Censori reportedly broke her silence on Wednesday, February 5. The mother from Melbourne made it apparent right away that she didn’t want to share in the spotlight.
Alexandra told the Daily Mail she had “nothing to say about Bianca” when they approached her as she was making her way to her car.
“We’re just regular people, going about our lives as quietly as possible,” he continued.
“Thank you, but I have nothing to say about Bianca.”
Meanwhile, Angelina, Bianca’s sister, posted a video of the red carpet event on her Instagram Stories to show support for her older sibling.
West and Censori were married in 2022, and according to insiders who previously spoke to the Daily Mail, Bianca’s family organized an intervention because of her husband’s domineering actions.
Some people think her spouse chooses what she wears and when, and the Grammys stunt wasn’t the first time Censori has displayed controversy about her attire.
