People who like suits, celebrate! The news you’ve been waiting for is finally here.
Harvey Specter was played by Gabriel Macht on Suits, and he has now confirmed that he will be back in the part.
Macht, who was also the show’s executive producer, will play the handsome lawyer again in Suits: LA, which is coming out soon.
He co-starred with Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle in the first eight seasons of the legal drama. When they left, he became the show’s sole main character in the ninth season.
The last time we saw the sophisticated professional, he was leaving the law firm where the show is set to go to Seattle to join Patrick J. Adams, also known as Mike.
Netflix made the spin-off after the second season of the show, and now Macht’s character will be in it.
Harvey will have a small part in a plot that spans three episodes of the show, which stars Stephen Amell.
Deadline says that Macht’s appearance is just a guest role and not a sign that he might be joining Suits LA full-time.
According to Deadline, this is how Ted Black, Amell’s main character and a former lawyer, will introduce Harvey to the show.
Macht’s Specter comes from a similar past; he was a criminal prosecutor before switching to business law.
Macht proved this by posting the video below on Instagram with the words, “When an old friend is in need… it’s time to take care of things and make those very “things” right.”
The opening music to the show is in the movie, and many Netflix users will know it.
People watched 57.7 billion minutes of Suits on the service in 2023, which broke all previous records.
Netflix revealed a spin-off more than five years after the end of the original show because it had the most viewers of any show in a single year.
According to what Deadline said about the spin-off Suits: LA,
“Suits: L.A.” is about Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who has changed his life by working as a lawyer for the most powerful people in Los Angeles.
“His company is in terrible shape, and he has to take a job that he has hated all his career in order to stay alive.”
A lot of people around Ted are torn between their loyalty to him and their loyalty to each other, and they can’t help but mix their personal and work lives.
“This all takes place as the show slowly brings to light the events that made Ted decide to leave everything and everyone he loved to start over.”
