With her former partner, Kanye West, who now goes by the handle “Ye,” the developer of SKIMS has four children: two daughters, North West, age 11, and Chicago, age 6, and two boys, Saint, age 8, and five-year-old Psalm. Kardashian regularly uses social media to share a lot of her time with her kids, whether it’s to showcase their talents and interests or to recognize their achievements, like North’s Lion King performance at the Hollywood Bowl. She has, however, been candid about the challenges of parenthood. She talked on how challenging living as a “single mom” had been in an episode of The Kardashians.
I suppose I’m still learning how to be a single mom, she added. I recently spoke about parenting on the Jay Shetty podcast, and everyone had a lot to say. I should be used to it by now. “It takes a village to raise kids, but at the end of the day, your kids only want you,” the reality star said, claiming that her difficulties had “nothing to do with the amount of support I had.” She recently posted a quote that seems to capture her feelings and speak to a lot of moms around the world.
She wrote on Instagram Stories, “The sad part of motherhood is that you’re raising the one person you can’t live without… to be able to live without you.” The tweet, which she doesn’t explain, was sent two weeks after a story broke that said West was regularly “not being near” their kids. According to a source who spoke to People, Kardashian is “very much a single parent.”
The magazine found out that Kanye isn’t around too often. She’s essentially a single mom. “She still finds it challenging to balance and organize everything, even with help.” After dating since 2012 and having their eldest daughter in June 2013, Kardashian and West got married in 2014.
In 2015, the ex-couple welcomed Chicago and Psalm via surrogacy following the birth of their son, Saint. Kardashian started the divorce process in 2021, and it was finalized in 2022. The Guardian claims that she and the rapper reached a settlement during their divorce procedures and will split custody of their four kids. The agreement also states that Ye would give his ex-wife $200,000 a month in child support, along with half of the children’s tuition and security costs. While West married Bianca Censori after their divorce, Kardashian had a love relationship with comedian Pete Davidson prior to their breakup.
