After that, she starred in several shows that received positive reviews from reviewers, such as the beloved Thelma & Louise. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in the film.

The actress has long advocated for body positivity and loved expressing herself via her sense of style. She has a slightly unrepentant manner and is vocal about the causes she believes in.
Some people were curious by the actress’ choice to attend a red carpet event wearing a white jacket and a black bra. One reporter described her outfit as “completely inappropriate.” However, instead of attempting to explain herself orally, the actress chose to use an image.
She posted an old picture of herself showing off her body in just her underwear. Sarandon essentially silenced everyone who questioned what was and wasn’t “appropriate” for her, as a picture is worth a thousand words.
The actress concentrates on her priorities and doesn’t worry about growing older. “When your sense of time has an ending and isn’t finite, like when you’re young,” she said in an interview.
“When you understand that time is precious, you have a tendency to surround yourself with people who are vital, curious, brave, and adventurous and to avoid wasting energy on the little things,” she continued.
“If you want to age gracefully, probably laugh a lot, get the normal amount of exercise, eat well, and stay out of the sun would be the main things,” Sarandon said simply when asked how she maintains her youthful appearance.
However, the actress went on to say that preserving your appearance also requires having a great hair and makeup team.
