How does 67-year-old Melanie Griffith look after undergoing plastic surgery and getting a new tattoo?

Melanie Griffith is still working as an actress, but she doesn’t do as many movies as she used to. She costarred with Evan Peters and Al Pacino as journalist Jay Bahadur in two films in 2017: the biographical The Pirates of Somalia, directed by James Franco, and The Disaster Artist, starring James Franco. In the middle of 2018, Griffith made the decision to go back on stage and appeared in The Graduate at the Laguna Playhouse in California.

She starred alongside her daughter Dakota Johnson in The High Note and alongside Demi Moore in the TV series Dirty Diana in 2020. Additionally, she will feature in the movie Akil, which is helmed by her former spouse Antonio Banderas.

Since 2009, Griffith has been fighting skin cancer, which has had a major influence on her life. She frequently has obvious scars from laser treatments that were used to eliminate malignant cells. She announced in a 2018 selfie that her facial skin cancer surgery was the last one she would have. Despite her long advocacy for plastic surgery, she later voiced sorrow for some of the operations she had undergone.

“I began undergoing cosmetic surgery about 20 years ago due to my fear of aging.” But as I started reading comments on my appearance, I realized I had made a huge mistake. However, I put a lot of effort into fixing it,” Griffith said.

Melanie has also had times when she has not been in the public eye, partly because of her issues with drugs and alcohol. Her need on painkillers began as a result of several injuries. She battled these addictions for years, going to support groups and entering treatment to become well.

Griffith is still optimistic that he will find love and begin a new relationship in spite of these obstacles. She has been married twice to actor Don Johnson among her four marriages. She is the mother of four children: son Alexander Bauer from Steven Bauer, daughter Stella Banderas from Antonio Banderas, and stepson Jesse Johnson from Don Johnson. With the fathers of her children, Griffith upholds good ties, saying, “They’re all my friends, and I love them with all my heart.”
