Despite having been born almost ten years apart, these siblings share one amazing characteristic.

The uncommon genetic condition known as albinism results in a lack of pigmentation in the skin, eyes,and/or hair, giving albinos a distinctive appearance:

Having an albino child is quite uncommon. It highlights the unusual fact that a Kazakh couple, separated by 12 years, had not one, but two albino offspring.

Meet Asel and Kamila, the remarkably distinctive siblings who are now in high demand as models:

At fourteen, Asel is the elder sibling. When she was born albino, her mother, Aiman Sarkitova, said she was taken aback.

Genetics were not as sophisticated with us when I gave birth to my eldest child, she said to the Daily Mail. It is just now beginning to develop. The physicians were taken aback.

How could they have been more surprised when Kamila was born with the same issue 12 years later?

These two siblings paired up and started modeling together because it’s such an amazing and startling sight to see them together.

Although Asel has been modeling since she was ten years old, her demand has increased now that she has her two-year-old sister by her side. More than 33,000 people follow the duo on Instagram.

Albinism has helped them achieve great success, but things are not always simple. Additionally, the disorder is linked to other illnesses including photosensitivity.

“I always use an umbrella, headgear, clothes that protect my skin, and sunscreen if I go outside in the afternoon,” Asel stated.

“It’s much easier for me in the evening when there is almost no sun.”

But they will always have each other to get through whatever ups and downs life throws at them.

Albinos may feel alone since their condition is so uncommon, but these two sisters are fortunate to have a family member who will always be similar to them.

Additionally, their success as models should raise awareness of albinism and highlight the distinctive beauty of albinos.
