16-pound giant baby made headlines in 1983. Now he’s all grown up and still famous for is size

Patricia Clarke, then 24 years old, knew her unborn kid would be big from the start when she became pregnant in 1983.

Having had one child already, she was aware that large babies were common in her family. Nevertheless, she had no idea how big the child she was carrying would end up being.

Kevin Robert Clark, who triumphantly weighed over 16 pounds, was born to Patricia. He was maybe the largest infant in the state of New Jersey at the time, in addition to being the largest baby to be born at Community Memorial Hospital.
