Wynonna Judd addressed worried fans in response to a barrage of remarks that flooded in on Wednesday night, raising concerns about the well-liked country singer’s health.
Judd,59, and Jelly Roll,38, sang Jelly Roll’s song “Need a Favor” to start off the CMA Awards. Judd was clearly hanging onto Jelly Roll during the performance, which caused many fans to voice their worries for her safety.
Judd responded to her fans’ worries on social media after the show by posting a video.
They advise against reading the comments. She posted a funny caption for her video.
Judd acknowledged in the little video that she had seen the comments and had made the decision to be honest with her fans.
She started, “I’m just going to be honest with you guys.” “I was incredibly anxious.”
Judd said she was excited but unable to get over her fear when Jelly Roll asked her to open the event with him.
“I was so nervous when I first went outside that I just grabbed on for dear life. And that’s the main point,” she acknowledged.
Judd explained her decision to accept Jelly Roll’s request to share the stage with her in an interview with ET following her performance.
Judd said to ET, “I have to show up for people like people did for me.” “It is now my responsibility to pass it on because I have been showered with generosity by others, and I am doing just that,” the speaker said.
