The 21-year-old Wednesday star has finally responded to the rumors that the 61-year-old Johnny Depp is her partner.
Jenna Ortega is scheduled to star in Beetlejuice 2, which will be helmed by Tim Burton, who has worked with Depp on eight previous projects.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has reportedly been rumored to make an unexpected appearance in the 1988 classic’s follow-up.
Fans have been speculating that Ortega and Depp are dating now.

After the gossip blog Deuxmoi revealed that Depp and Ortega had been sighted together while filming Beetlejuice 2, rumors about the couple started to circulate.
The X actress has previously discussed her interactions with “manipulative” and “toxic” trolls on social media and how she handles them.
“Social media, what it does to anyone our age, it’s such a comparing game,” Ortega said to Maleficent actress Elle Fanning as part of Variety’s Actors on Actors series.

She continued by describing how the quantity of trolls she encountered on social media increased as her profile increased as a result of Wednesday.

In addition to Ortega, the Edward Scissorhands actor’s agent has denied the rumors.
“Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever,” the representative told NME in an interview. He’s never talked to her or met her.
“Neither does he plan to be, nor is he currently working on any project with her. These vicious and unfounded rumors, which are meant to damage his reputation and profession, disgust him.
