Hearing about people going above and beyond to assist animals in need always makes me feel good.
A bicycle went above and above to save a bunch of five puppies who had been abandoned and thought to be dead. He gave them a ride and assisted in finding homes.
Brazilian professional cyclist Thyago Costa Silva was out training with pals. But they had to turn around when they saw a startling and depressing sight in the middle of nowhere.
Five puppies were discovered by the riders buried in a pit. Tyago told The Dodo, “Someone dug the hole and left them there to die.” “They were helpless and unable to flee.”
The sight of the small puppies horrified and depressed the cyclists, who couldn’t believe that someone would treat them so cruelly.
They had to assist, they knew. They stopped and gave them food and drink. Tyago is shown in a video on his Instagram account giving the extremely thirsty puppies water from his bottle.
He stated, “They just wanted to survive.”
The riders went above and beyond by giving the puppies water and then riding 12 miles to bring them to assistance.
Tyago took the five puppies into his own house to provide them with even more care, going above and above.
“It was really touching,” Tyago said to The Dodo. “I brought them home and looked after them.”
Although he was still in shock at the brutality they had to endure, he hoped the puppies would soon find new homes. He posted on Instagram, saying, “I hope they get a home, get owners who have a real heart.”
Fortunately, Tyago’s assistance has resulted in the puppies’ happy ending—all of them have found their final homes.
The rider said to The Dodo, “They will have a better life.” They will receive excellent care, I’m sure of it. I’m very excited about this.
Tyago claims that despite all of the attention and gratitude he has received for saving the dogs, it was the right thing to do.
He posted on Instagram, saying, “I did it for love, I did it as any other good-hearted human being would, not for the media, I don’t need it.”
“I’m so grateful to God and everyone for this wonderful day and the chance to experience it; it was truly magical and I would do it again and again.”
