A Dorset guitar instructor won a berth in the live stages of America’s Got Talent after impressing the judges. In an attempt to calm one of his anxious kids, 59-year-old John Wines, a teacher at The Bourne Academy in Bournemouth, decided to try out.

I’m ecstatic! Wines remarked, “I never imagined I would have this opportunity.” “I’m achieving goals I never could have imagined.”
Simon Cowell and the other judges were drawn to Wines’ rendition of the Queen hit song “We Will Rock You” during his initial audition. He is currently getting ready for the competition’s second round, which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Wines spoke with his 16-year-old student, Maya, who was experiencing anxiety ahead of a show, and it was during their talk that he happened over the America’s Got Talent application. He made the decision to jump himself since he could relate to Maya’s fear.
Wines said, “I wanted to show her that even teachers get nervous sometimes.” “I made the decision to face my own fears by placing myself in her shoes.”
Wines was lucky to discover his audition invitation in time, even though he nearly missed it and misplaced it into his rubbish folder. He is now prepared to offer the live performances everything he has.

Anybody who aspires to follow their passion and Wines’ students can find inspiration in this incredible journey. Keep up with Wines’s journey on America’s Got Talent and continue to support this gifted Dorset guitar instructor.
