The secret to building a better world is instilling empathy in our kids. Things start to fit together as we learn to look out for one another.

Six New York siblings—two sets of twins, a set of triplets, and a 10-year-old—experienced the tragic loss of a close friend in a touching tale. Sadly, a friend who had been fighting cancer lost the battle. He lost every hair during his chemotherapy treatments. The siblings were really saddened by this. They decided to grow their own hair long and donate it to other cancer patients in remembrance of their late friend.
They didn’t even tell their mother why they wouldn’t cut their hair; they kept their strategy a secret. Their peers started making more and more fun of them as the months passed and their hair grew longer. Some even said they resembled girls, and they received derogatory remarks. The siblings, however, were unfazed by this since they understood that what they were doing was for a reason—to aid those in need.
They had amassed an astonishing total of 17 feet of hair when the time came for them to donate it. What these little kids were able to achieve out of love and concern for others is beyond incredible.
This touching tale serves as a reminder that even young toddlers are capable of displaying amazing kindness. To find out more about their experience, kindly watch the movie below and share it on Facebook with your loved ones.
