Such terrifyingly heartbreaking news for Dwayne Johnson. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers

Few things are more unsettling to the majority of us than getting an unexpected call informing us that a loved one has been in a terrible accident.

You’ll understand exactly what I mean if you’ve ever had to answer a call like this. You will be able to identify with the sudden wave of anxiety, the plethora of inquiries, and most importantly, the hushed prayers said in the hope that your friend or family member will make it through.

After his mother, Ata Johnson, was seriously injured in a vehicle accident on Thursday morning at around three in the morning, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson disclosed Tuesday that he was one half of an extremely harrowing phone call earlier this week.

Johnson shared on Instagram that his mother, 74, was involved in an accident involving a red Cadillac Escalade and another car. The well-known actor and former WWE wrestler posted a picture of his mother’s vehicle online that clearly shows significant damage to the front passenger side.

Johnson wrote in the post’s caption that “angels of mercy watched over my mom” and thanked God that “she’s ok.”

He continued, “She will survive and keep getting evaluated.” She overcame lung cancer, a difficult marriage, a head-on collision with an intoxicated driver, and an attempted suicide. She has survived in ways that confirm the existence of angels and miracles.

Johnson stated that his mother will continue to be assessed going ahead, but he withheld any additional information regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision.

In addition, he took the time to commend the first responders for their handling of the crisis, both in terms of assisting his mother and making every effort to keep him informed and composed.

He said in his message, “Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused.” “I appreciate you staying on the phone and helping me through everything.”

The Black Adam actor concluded by pleading with his millions of fans to cherish their parents.

He wrote, “I only have one parent left.” “So, if your parents are still with you, give them a big hug because you never know when you’ll receive that call at three in the morning that we never want to receive.”

The 50-year-old former professional wrestler has previously complimented his mother’s fortitude and resiliency. He called her a “survivor” in October 2020, in observance of her 72nd birthday.

We try our best to view each day as a genuine blessing because we never know what lies ahead on this erratic journey called life, Johnson wrote.

And my mother is the best example of that mentality. She is a brilliant example of love, joy, and kindness since she has survived and lives life to the fullest every single day.

In 2020, Rocky Johnson, a professional wrestler, passed away at the age of 75. Johnson was his father.

We are grateful that the mishap did not result in more harm. Because life can be so incredibly unpredictable at times, it’s crucial to constantly be kind, compassionate, and forgiving of others.

Spread the word about this story on Facebook to offer Dwayne Johnson your condolences. If you concur that you should always cherish your parents while they are still living, please leave a comment.
