Way is a lost and abandoned dog from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a kind heart. The street dog had recently given birth to a litter of puppies and was giving them all of her attention when she noticed someone else in need of assistance.
Way had always survived on the streets, but since she no longer had enough food to go around, she scoured the area for any food she could find. Argentina was experiencing winter, so she wasn’t in a rush.
At that point, Way discovered a newborn human baby in an alley that was obviously abandoned by its mother. The dog developed maternal instincts and realized the infant need warmth. Way hurried back to her babies and took them one by one to the new baby’s nest. Then, to the best of her ability, she wrapped her body around the bruise.
Alejandria Griffin, a resident, heard the newborn’s cries the following morning. She was completely taken aback by what she saw when she ventured outside to investigate. One of her daughters had been abducted by a stray dog. She phoned the police for help right away.
Santina, the newborn, was sent to the emergency room for prompt medical attention. Alejandria took care of the stray, and the adopters genuinely think the baby would have perished if not for the dog’s heroic deeds. Approach was praised as a hero.
Santini was surprisingly grateful for everything he had gone through, and most of that was due to the extraordinary care that Way had provided.
Eventually, the police were able to identify the mother of the infant, a 33-year-old woman from Buenos Aires who was already the mother of eight other children. She was taken into custody and accused of abandoning her newborn.
Way was taken in by a local shelter, where she would receive care for herself and her children until they were able to find permanent homes. What a wonderful world we live in!
