Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan are among the most exemplary couples in Hollywood.

They have supported one another through highs and lows during more than three decades of committed marriage, particularly during Fox’s battle with Parkinson’s disease.

The actor offered a heartfelt tribute to his devoted wife on the occasion of the couple’s most recent 35th wedding anniversary.

35th birthday

On social media over the years, the Back to the Future star, 62, has shared countless pictures of Tracy.

“35 years of laugher, living, listening, and loving you,” Fox wrote in the caption. “I appreciate it all. Mike, I’m yours forever.

I adore you so much. Pollan responded in the discussion. She also shared a message she had written on Instagram for her husband:

My love, happy anniversary. We look forward to many more dazzling adventures together. She wrote, “I could not adore you more.

Pollan turned 63 last month. She showers the ones she loves with love, she shows them the way that she feels, Fox stated in a touching birthday tweet for his wife.

“My love, my best friend, my everlasting Summer girl, and the most gorgeous, magnificent mother to our four amazing children. I absolutely adore you.

Tracy Pollan and Michael J. Fox had a love story.

Fox and Pollan have been married since 1988. They originally met on the set of Family Ties, where Pollan portrayed Alex P. Keaton’s fiancée, years before. They worked together once more on the set of the movie Bright Lights, Big City, when a romance blossomed.

The ceremony was held on July 16, 1988. They have three children: daughter Esmé, identical twin sisters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and son Sam.

In 1991, barely a few years into their marriage, Fox was horribly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Fox remembered on The Late Show With David Letterman in 2015 that “it was scary.” It was the last thing I expected to hear at the age of 29, so. I believed I injured my shoulder while performing a trick because my pinkie twitched. The doctor then informed him that he had Parkinson’s disease. The good news is that you still have 10 years of labor ahead of you, he remarked.

Fox adds that throughout the most difficult times as he struggled to accept the situation, his wife’s love and support saw him through.

“We didn’t know what to expect,” Fox said. “Tracy didn’t blink at that crucial moment, which is one reason I’ll always love her,” the author said.

For the past 35 years, they have been a constant source of love and support for one another, and their relationship is still going strong.

“I think we really listen to each other, and I think we are there for each other when we need each other,” said Pollan. Then, when necessary, we also give each other space. Just trying to be there and feeling off of what’s required right now.

“Tracy provides our family with all we require. She is the source of all our family’s good deeds, Fox continued.

Fox recently stated that his Parkinson’s disease battle was “getting tougher” and that he was “not gonna be 80,” but asserted that he was still “happy.” Fox said that he would retire from acting in 2021.

With his Michael J. Fox Foundation, which funds research to create more efficient Parkinson’s treatments and a cure, Fox is still doing fantastic things. The organization is the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s disease research and has raised more than $1 billion for research programs.
