John Lennon’s son Julian stuns the world by singing father’s ‘Imagine’ for ‘the first time ever’

Julian Lennon, the son of John Lennon, one of the finest singers and artists to ever live, had long declared that he would not perform his father’s well-known song Imagine until the end of the world was imminent. Julian, however, sung a song whose lyrics are so profound they cut the heart to the core in light of the current situation with the conflict that has been raging in Ukraine since the end of February and in which a significant number of people have lost their lives and homes.

As part of Global Citizen’s Stand Up for Ukraine campaign, Julian gave a performance of Imagine and stated that the unfathomable tragedy occurring in Ukraine inspired him to “respond in the most significant way [he] could.”

According to what he wrote, “The song reflects the light at the end of the tunnel, that we are all hoping for.” Millions of innocent families have been compelled to flee the comfort of their homes in order to find asylum abroad as a result of the continued homicidal bloodshed.

According to Deadline, Julian contributed to the $10 billion fundraising effort that will be used to aid Ukrainian refugees.Around 4.5 million individuals are thought to have already left the country.

Julian pleaded for everyone to lend a hand to the displaced people and anyone else pursuing their dreams of a better life.

“I’m urging international leaders and everyone who agrees with Imagine to speak out in favor of refugees everywhere! Please support causes and make heartfelt donations.

Together with guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, he performed a simple yet incredibly moving performance of the song. The message he helps communicate through his performance is the most significant of all.

We all desire and fervently pray for world peace.
