Former supermodel posts bikini photos at 57 years old and gets called desperate – her response shocks critics

Although aging is a natural part of life, not everyone admits that they are aging and that their appearance is changing. Many people turn to plastic surgery to stop this natural process.

Paulina Porizkova, a longtime runway model from the Czech Republic, is not one of them. This 57-year-old incredibly attractive woman is open about the aging process and claims that she avoids injectables because she wants to embrace age and the idea that “faces are for communicating,” rather than hiding it.

Paulina revealed in an interview with People that she once felt like “literally being an apple in a still life” and that the only goal in life was to “look pretty.”

“You just kind of get polished, placed, be quiet, and look pretty,” she recounted. It made me feel a little frustrated.

Paulina, who has been working in the company since she was just 13 years old, stated, “There are so many other things I had wanted to accomplish. I’m aware that being in this situation and having achieved such accomplishment were both blessings. You don’t dismiss that out of hand. It’s a gift, that.

Regarding the modeling industry, she thinks “ageism” is one issue that needs to change. She told People, “I felt ashamed to be growing older, but then you think, ‘But I’m smarter, I’m better, I’m funnier, I’m more patient!'” I’m the best version of myself overall that I’ve ever been.

Despite her advanced age, she continues to share images of herself on social media posing in bikinis. “I’m a 57-year-old woman, and it seems to imply that in society you sort of lose your license to be able to show up in bikinis too when you hit middle age.” And even if she occasionally hears cruel remarks like “a desperate grandma” or “too old to be doing this,” she still believes she has the freedom to dress however she feels most at ease.

She and other persons her age should not be disregarded just because they are becoming older. “You don’t get to dismiss me because I have some wrinkles, sags, and grey hair now, when I’m kind of fabulous, the most fabulous I’ve ever been,” this beauty adds. “In fact, I’m going to say right now that this is me at my best and put it out there. “Take care of it!”

She tries the majority of noninvasive treatments she can discover before turning to injectables and plastic surgery. I just need a little subtle help,” she remarked in a chat with WWD. I don’t want anything extreme. I’m not looking to get rid of my age. Given the restrictions, all I want is to appear as attractive as possible.

Paulina wants to grow older and remain unmodified.

“What I like about my face now, at 57, is that it’s like a really good novel of the history of my life, like it’s all written into my face,” she claims.

Many people find inspiration in Paulina. She thinks we should all embrace aging gracefully because she loves it.
